"All creatures, great and small" is from the hymn, "All Things Bright and Beautiful" composed by Cecil Frances Alexander in 1848. Some think the words are intended to explain the "Maker of heaven and earth" part of the Apostle's Creed.
Love this, Julie! Looking forward to where this new focus takes you. I very much appreciate your love for nature and science and God. Three things that matter to me a lot, too. :)
Is that the origin of the phrase "all creatures, great and small?"
Excited to see what comes from this re-focus!

The Belgic Confession would predate that though in 1559, I guess?
The hymn definitely came after the Belgic Confession. However, the Apostle's Creed is much older than the Belgic Confession.
I am looking forward to coming along with you under this new name and direction. It's perfectly you ☺️
Thank you!
Excited for you in this "refreshed" endeavor!
